So if there was no sketch did you include interior photos, etc.?

They need to get the report writing down to 90 minutes. I thought we were modernizing this thing?

I dunno. I spend 90 minutes just doing market analysis. There's a ton of dropdowns and clicking, but honestly, the Reggora product is pretty straightforward.

I did. The appraisal was my house and the pics were of my house as well.

Maybe I misunderstood. So you did your house. Got it. Did you run comparables etc?

woofda. 6 hours and no inspection? On a 2.6 (2055) that would have taken about 2 hours.

Just sharing my experience. If the info isn't relevant to ya, don't use it. I can't tell ya the last time I saw an order for a 2055? Not sure that's comparing apples to apples, though.

There's no doubt this will take longer than the 1004. I think everyone's pretty much in agreement on that - even the GSE folks. And there's no doubt the inspection will take longer as well. Seems to me there are two options, both of which are appropriate depending on an individual's own perspective: (1) choose to not participate in 3.6, or (2) learn and adapt. Either decision is perfectly legit.

We are all trying to get a handle on this thing.

I think the “gnashing of teeth” is more about what to expect. Most appraisers that I know are just sitting in limbo not knowing if their software will work, which software to use, should they use paper and pencil or a mobile app, and there is the question should they do them at all or focus on private work (I have one friend in that situation).

In the past changes came a bit slower with more time to absorb. This is coming fast and furious and with a great deal of confusion.
