They need to have the author of the Appraisers Petition help them compose something alot better than what they have. I wouldn't apply my X to that document, it lacks polish.
 
Petition equals a voice. Individually we are vulnerable, together they can hear us. If a petition does not work or if it does, at least we have come together.

Yes, let's work together. Please try not to rip on the wording, it's the idea that matters. Once the petition is published it cannot be changed. I think a new one can be started.

The only problem the author of the petition seems to have lack of desire for anyone to get involved. If you email your suggestions they most likely will be included. This person is trying to do some good for us. He does not ask for money, just support. You can do this by giving him your suggestions.

This could be something that works for us. Please don't rule it out.

I asolutely agree with you. I intend to do something for the WI mess.
 
The regulators should just make the collection of an appraisal fee by a lender/broker be illegal. Only the singing appraiser should collect the fee and who is also responsible for the report. This should be the petition. The collection of the fee by the appraiser would be more consumers friendly and would be market driven. It could possibly save the consumer money. If our industry looks to save the consumer money we will get more ears listening.

Sorry but I couldn't resist. I see this typo alot and everytime I see it I imagine a Mel Brooks movie with a singing appraiser and start to laugh.
