ACI just down or out of business

Existing ACI XML files can be converted to Total. I converted about 30-files yesterday and have already accessed some. I know it can be done.
Yes, that is true, but if you are working on five to six appraisals in the office and they have yet to be converted to XML (because they are NOT finished), then you need to buy the different software and start all over. Existing ACI XML files are of no use; they have been completed and sent

That is the issue that I have! My office had about 6 reports here that I was going to be submitting between Weds and yesterday and are 100% finished but can not be converted to XML. Very frustrating.

Very frustrating! I tried using clickForms, not with much success...

At a minimum you need a hard copy of the software installed on your computer like it used to be back in the day.
This is why MS Office Pro 2019 is my last hoorah with them. I don't want to be on the cloud writing a letter or doing an Excel spreadsheet. I want it solely on my pc.

I would do the Wintotal 30 day trial NOW. Convert your files, then convert those to XML.

Ala Mode is well aware of this happening and probably have people working on overtime.

From what it sounds like, you're going to get nothing for those six reports if you don't act.

If their entire system is down how are you going to send XML Files ? nobody is working until Tuesday anyway and to try and learn a new software program over a holiday seems kinda stupid :) LMO

These companies' business model's going forward is all about subscription-basing, but they need to learn that doesn't override the customer's needs to stay in business. Stupid.

Just got this...

Reports Created through ACI Appraisal Software Currently Not Accepted

Dear Valued Partner,

Effective immediately, We will NOT be accepting reports created through ACI appraisal software until further notice.

This decision has been made, out of an abundance of caution, as a result of the recent security breach that occurred with First American, impacting ACI software.

Appraisers with open orders unable to complete a report with alternative software must contact our teams by 6PM EST today, Friday, December 22 and we will reassign to another appraiser. Please either update your order through the vendor portal or call the number within your engagement letter.

At this time, all other aspects of appraisal submission to **** will remain the same. Appraisers will still use the *** vendor portal to update and submit reports.

We thank you for your attention to this matter,
.
