ACI just down or out of business

in ACI I can take a report that I have a PDF copy of and import that into the ACI workfile and then keep working on it. Is that possible on clickforms?
I think so. I know it will convert ACI and total files but I don't know what extensions. I had moved to a new area so I started over completely.

I LEFT A MESSAGE WITH ACI THAT IF THEY DONT GIVE ME ASSISTANCE (I'VE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES PLUS THE "ACIWEB.COM" FEATURE IS DOWN) , I WILL STOP PAYMENT ON THE CREDIT CARD PAYMENT I JUST USED TO PAY MY $649 AUNNAL RENEWAL FEE. EVIDENTLY, FIRST AMMERCIAN IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING REPORTS WITH ACI SOFTWARE DUE TO SOME TYPE OF BREACH OR SECURITY ISSUE ? MAYBE ACI GOT HACKED ?
Stop yelling....hopefully you're not typing your reports like this.

Stop payment on credit card, switch to another vendor.

Just got this...

Reports Created through ACI Appraisal Software Currently Not Accepted

Dear Valued Partner,

Effective immediately, We will NOT be accepting reports created through ACI appraisal software until further notice.

This decision has been made, out of an abundance of caution, as a result of the recent security breach that occurred with First American, impacting ACI software.

Appraisers with open orders unable to complete a report with alternative software must contact our teams by 6PM EST today, Friday, December 22 and we will reassign to another appraiser. Please either update your order through the vendor portal or call the number within your engagement letter.

At this time, all other aspects of appraisal submission to **** will remain the same. Appraisers will still use the *** vendor portal to update and submit reports.

We thank you for your attention to this matter,

Voxtur

I can see the Lenders and GSEs - See 'Waivers' would have prevented millions from not closing escrow for Christmas and the New Years . :) LMAO

yes, had to , AMCs dont want ACI. I downloaded bradford. slight curve, its either bradford or truck driving, LOL
I don't even remember how to manual transmission, so learning 21 gears isn't going to happen. Not to mention, I don't see so well at night.

FYI: BOA notified its vendors today that it WILL accept pdf reports during this outage and provided an email address. The in-house appraisal department of another Top-3 national lender has also sent the same instructions to its vendors. These are "direct lender" situations only for now, but it shows that someone out there at least "gets it".

Those of you "suggesting" we long-time ACI users switch software providers - I know most of you probably mean well, BUT - Just STOP. You are only making things worse. That's like telling you something along the lines of: "Well, how about you learn Chinese by tomorrow and submit the report in that language?" You get the idea - its not practical, and after decades of building a system and becoming familiar with the nooks and crannies of our software we're well past the "try something totally new" stage.

Anyhow ... those are my thoughts ... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Concerning ACI Cybersecurity Attack
Cybersecurity attacks have affected many appraisers this year — remember Rapattoni MLS systems going down. Now, First American and ACI have experienced an incident and had to take some systems offline.
A number of companies have asked if their ACI appraisers could use ClickFORMS to complete their assignments while ACI resolves their issues. We said yes, and want to extend that same courtesy to all ACI users. This is a time to band together for the greater good. A cybersecurity attack could happen to any one of us.
So, if you would like to use ClickFORMS to complete your assignments, you are welcome to do so. There is no charge, no fees and no high-pressure sales calls to switch vendors.
  1. Go to AppraisalWorld.com
  2. Go to Sign up – become a member is you're not one already. It's free.
  3. On the home page, you will see the icon for ClickFORMS Desktop. Click it.
  4. On the new page, click on the second option – ClickFORMS Free Trial Download.
  5. This will take you to the Download page – Click on Download.
  6. Install ClickFORMS – you are now ready to start using it.
Click here for a short video to get you up to speed quickly. It's just the basics, but it will minimize any learning curve so you can complete your pending reports.
The full working version of ClickFORMS is good for 30 days. This should be enough time for ACI to resolve their issues and for you to get your appraisals completed. Once ACI solves their issues, you can go back to using your ACI software.
We are offering this as a courtesy to all appraisers who have been impacted by the unfortunate ACI/First American cybersecurity issues and we wish ACI a speedy resolution of their issues.
Happy Holidays to all and Best Wishes for an "uneventful" 2024.
