Learning another software is not that hard
I bought the ancient Winsketch many many years ago, and it always integrated into every program I used. Clickforms, NCV, SFREP. I still use it over 20 years later. I just copy the .exe file from computer to computer when I get a new one and keep a copy as "backup" in the event the program simply crashes. If I bought Apex (which I have used) there is somewhat of a new learning curve but Marko above is right. It just isn't that hard to switch software... we just all don't like it because it is 'different.'I am unable to do a sketch in the free trial without buying their sketching program.
I demo'd it once and didn't think it was bad but Clickforms was easier. HomPuter was the most difficult I tried to master. SFREP wasn't bad either.. and SFREP offers a six month free working download. That's what I would try first. https://www.sfrep.com/Downloads/how difficult in Total to learn?
Yes, by not having a true stand alone program, you are at the mercy of the vendor. That's why it sucks putty balls with all these programs. Maps, etc. are great when they work....when they don't work, you are out of business. It is ridiculous that an office and workstation output is tied to these software companies
No, its not. At least not for me. When did this miracle allegedly happen?ACI back up and working. Able to pull maps, XML, etc. so much for doom and gloom on this thread,
Would have been none with some communication from ACI. And do you think any of the appraisers who had assignments will get a little sympathy from ACI?ACI back up and working. Able to pull maps, XML, etc. so much for doom and gloom on this thread,
Per another poster on FB about an hour ago.No, its not. At least not for me. When did this miracle allegedly happen?
I got those emails as well.I got an email from AMC that said no appraisals from ACI will be accepted. Wow!
