ACI just down or out of business

Appears the server for ENV conversion is off and on... some of my clients say they can create an ENV from the PDF....it was the XML files that were the problem...that appear to be running without issue.....so far...

Though none of us much appreciate being treated like a red-headed stepchild, I am soooo glad to have ACI back. Tempted to develop a backup plan by becoming more familiar with another software, however ACI Analytics, Import and Mapping functions are so integrated into my SOP, I have neither the time nor the inclination to make a change. I have to think First Am has put a more robust defense in place against this type of cyber attack. Somebody needs to develop a stand-alone prg that will do ENV and XML, PDF, etc. without being joined at the hip to proprietary software so when (not if) this happens again, our biz can keep going.

I have a feeling that there was nothing ACI could have said about when they would be active again so it was better to just say they were working on it as hard as they could which they did.

The hack was apparently really damaging and maybe they paid a ransom? The fault lies on those that decided to digitize the financial system and made it vulnerable. It’s obviously a stupid thing to do regarding national security and economic security.

I would move away from ACI, the reputational risk consequences are still being played out (see below).
