ACI just down or out of business

It happened right around 5:15 p.m. yesterday. Not much sleep here!! Thank you for reporting in - I was worried it was just me. I cannot believe they didn't put a voice recording on or send out some sort of notice by now. That's the only thing that has me concerned that maybe Chris is onto something....

They've always had terrible communication. Their lack of even a simple facebook, twitter post or anything frustrates me. May be time to spend more on a la mode....

I'm hoping someone knows something. I can't send any reports out with my ACI software today. I tried to go directly to the ACI website and even that is down. Anyone know anything?

1. Maybe they are being held hostage by Russian hackers?
2. Maybe its part of the Hybrid/Parea/PAVE/DEI plan to show that 'appraisers' aren't reliable and biased?
3. The FBI & DOJ are investigating them because someone in the company voted for Trump who is a Nazi and already been convicted of insurrection?

No idea although Service link was hacked last month and I think it took about a week before they were back up.

If you're busy An option would be to get something inexpensive like Homeputer as a backup until ACI is back up.

i received an email today saying Clickforms was offering two years of service for the price of one, along with a 15 day free trial. The offer is good for all three levels of service. I haven’t used any of the forms vendors for more than 15 years.

Clients are now starting to cancel any orders due to ACI software and still no word from ACI.

It happens to others too. Hacking systems near Christmas is now a common thing and hundreds will be targeted this week. It usually takes 2 to 7 days to get back up but days before Christmas probably longer. I dont use ACI but my provider has been shut down by hackers before too. All you can do is sit back - tell your clients no delivering until your up and running-- BUT I WOULD MAKE sure the assignment has not already been sent to another appraiser, because my guess is some lenders in a panic to close by year end --are going to redirect the orders to a non- ACI software Appraiser.
