ACI just down or out of business

FYI: One of my clients took the .pdf file I uploaded and extracted the Fannie-compliant .xml 3 file from it (they got the "real" software for that, I guess), so that may be an option for SOME clients. A couple of other ones just told me to keep them informed and had no further directions ...

i may have to move to bradford,

Sorry for the dark humor ACI users...that was pretty messed up.

How about this.... Are there any companies such as Ala Mode that would give you a trial run prior to purchasing? If I recall correctly, WinTotal converts files from ACI and other vendors. Just a thought.

Good luck!
I am switching to bradford.

i may have to move to bradford,

Thats what we used and its good but is has also had hacks. Nobody is sheltered from today's hacks the Title Companies have also got hacked at times. Just relax nobody is working this week end anyways and my guess
is you will be up and running by Monday . I'm sure Bradford is swamped with tech calls and others this week end not a good time to learn how to use new platforms as the learning curve is a few weeks.

You are right, I will clean my desk,

You are right, I will clean my desk,

The lenders employees will leave at noon tomorrow and same with AMCs with shell staff and unless someone had a report yesterday, the only ones running around in a panic is the appraisers and everyone else
is like F- This and gone. I used to laugh because every Loan Officer ran over to appraisal order desk at 4:30 Pm on Fridays and screamed this is a rush, and many were not even coming back in for 4 days. To me this is a great thing to happen as you can finish all your work and just upload say on Monday or Tuesday. And you have someone to blame, and be the fall guy and everyone will be happy they all got a break until Monday. :) LOL

Yep- 2 orders cancelled this evening- if there not going to communicate anything (ACI) then they may be out of business with a few weeks- I've decided to switch over to another software and that's after 20 yr.'s with ACI-- no communication at such a crucial time of the year is beyond un-professional/negligent- Good luck everyone- Happy Holidays maybe we get up in AM and its fixed !

Still down, no tech support, no website, no reports getting delivered, no income.

Can everyone just chill out. This is called a fact of life in the 21st Century. They will get it straightened out as fast as they can. [And none of you "drama queens" are going to switch software providers for the same reason that I won't - because it will be a cold day in Hey before I waste a minute of my time learning another appraisal software system from scratch.] And if there's no work for a few weeks - well, more time to spend doing other, more important things. ;)

I agree. They probably are all gone by now. The software engineers are more than likely off for vacation. Depending on the severity of the breach it could take two or more weeks.
