Glad to. :giggle:

Aloft has been selected to develop educational courses for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in anticipation of the upcoming changes to the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR) and the Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD). This industry-wide training initiative aims to prepare both appraisers and industry professionals for the significant transformations in appraisal standards. The training is expected to be delivered through AloftU, Aloft's educational platform, in the winter of 2024–2025 .aloftappraisal.com+1aloftappraisal.com+1

Additionally, Aloft is a sponsor of the Appraiser Diversity Initiative (ADI), a nationwide program led by the Appraisal Institute, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the National Urban League. The ADI is designed to increase diverse entrants into the real estate appraisal field and provide resources to help them succeed within the profession .aloftappraisal.com+1aloftappraisal.com+1

I see notice that Aloft worked with the GSEs on training for the new URAR.
What I do not see is anything related to an adjustment tool. :)

I wouldn't say went bust. They were a start up and did what startups do...sell and make money.

I think the same guy or person

associated with aloft is now trying the app home measure game, like cubi casa. He's on those appraisers Facebook groups asking for feedback.

We are a leading technology company full of math enthusiasts, with a focus on bringing modern solutions to the appraisal industry. Aloft was born in 2021, funded by some of the nation's premier venture capital firms.

Nice try at deception, but Aloft is a software company, not an educational provider. Let me ask you how Miss Heather suddenly ended up at Fannie after working three years at Aloft.:)

Ever since the hvcc, there's been a fad of grift the appraisers...... they'll buy anything to shorten the length of time it takes to fill out a report due to the low pay.

Did you actually read what you posted?

It is my understanding that after the sale, AloftU was sheltered, but at the time of contracting with the GSEs they certainly had an education arm. You do know that some companies do more than one thing, right?

Unfortunately, this is what the national firms are pushing.

Don't get me wrong, I like tech and use it.

In my opinion, these companies are making a push button appraisal....a appraiser assisted avm.

Explains it here, although I take dwiley at his word on being spun off

Lol, you're really flipping and flopping on this one. Let me ask: if Alamode suddenly launched Alamode U, would they be considered an educational provider? Was Aloft's "education" approved by individual states? Did the Appraiser Qualifications Board approve the course? And you still haven't addressed the question about Miss Heather.

Before I used ANY tool I would make sure that I understood, and I mean truly understood, how it works.

Over the years I have seen several "appraiser tools" that used techniques that were not consistent with basic appraisal principles, and I would not use such tools. Unfortunately, some just accept the output without understanding what drives the output.

1. They have been listed as an education provider in my state for several years.
2. How would I know anything about personnel matters at a company where I do not work?
