I've only been home testing for 4 days now....
So for the past 4 days my numbers have been 2-3% lower than your numbers at times and 3-10% higher than your numbers at times....
Mostly higher....
What does your primary physician say about your numbers....
He says my heart is going to get tired at some point and just quit working. Hopefully later than sooner... I'm currently on 2 different BP meds.

Can numbers drastically improving 2 weeks from eliminating all canned/process foods from the diet....

Or is my arm cuff too loose....

One take is that the real impact from eliminating processed foods. Is that it was more a result of eliminating the high sodium content of those foods. I use very little processed foods and minimal salt. My bp rarely sees 120. Usually around 115-118

Those are great numbers....

Absolutely. My mothers BP will fluctuate from day to day between hypo and hypertension depending on her diet. She is extremely salt sensitive tho

When I cut back on alcohol, the improvement was almost immediate...

Perfect item for your FSA.

Salt causes you to retain water. More fluid in your body, more fluid in your blood, higher BP. That's why a lot of BP meds are diuretics that cause you to pee a lot, reducing the amount of fluid in your body.

Works the same on the other end of the spectrum. If you get dehydrated...hot day, working outside, not drinking much water...BP will drop. If I know I'm going to be outside all day in the summer, I won't take my BP med in the morning. My BP will fall quickly, like off the edge of a cliff. Makes it hard to move about, see black spots and get dizzy if you get up too quickly. BP example: 160/100 w/out meds. 125/80 with meds. Work outside in the heat after taking meds, BP will fall to 90/50. I really can't drink enough to keep up.

Also, dehydration will cause your pulse to jump high. Blood gets thicker, heart has to pump faster and harder to keep it flowing. When my BP drops, my resting pulse will increase to 90-100+/- instead of 65-70. Its quite a balancing act sometimes.

I use Omron, battery operated, upper arm. Model BP7100.

I have a wrist one, but it seems not as accurate as the upper arm one. I have never been to a doctor that uses a wrist type.

136/94/70. About average for me.
That seems kind of borderline high. I try to cut down on frozen dinners and canned food which have high sodium.
Also try doing more outside walking. My dog forces me to walk out at least twice a week.
