This is how Fernando does business and his appraisals as well. He checks.
I don't doubt you. If Apex refuses to follow through what you say then that will be a problem.

Please supply the name of the Rep you spoke with as I will call tomorrow morning. You are basically calling me a scammer or a liar. I do not hide behind a user name like a lot of people do. I see you have a whole 6 years on the forum which is way more than my 17 years on the forum. I want proof to your conversation as the person I spoke with said as long as the software did not have a prior users, this can be done. He also gave me my password and account number which had to be found using my business phone number. I will be calling apex tomorrow to confirm what you are saying is true or false. Unlike you, I will supply the name of the Rep I speak with. Please note that I am not selling the license I worked with for my entire career, but rather an unused license. The Rep was aware that I was not trying to resell the license I have been using. You should find the facts out or read the entire post before asking Apex if it can be done or not.
I wouldn't get too worked up about Fernando's comments. He probably called alamode to ask about your deal and called Apex to get support for his Total software. And that low level of confusion would be a good day for him!

forget v6 for 1/2 price. you can get the brand new version from any other appraiser friend for $100 not the v6 from years ago.

Apex and Total are two separate companies.
When I called the rep at Apex, when I mentioned about the transferred he said somthing like from the forum so he knows about it but discouraged me.

I would expect a comment like this from a California appraiser. Be aware who lurks on this forum.
???? I posted a current image of the Apex company website shopping cart stating that an additional license for version 7 is $100 which is newer then your posting for version 6 and cheaper then what you are asking for it. What is your point about California and warning me about people lurking on the forum?

You are definitely not interested, why are you showing ignorance by replying in a manor like this. Is this common for stuck-up California appraiser's with nothing better to do. If what you are posting is real and legal, why would a company sell a re-sale license so that a re-seller could put them out of business by under cutting their prices. I cannot believe that a professional Certified Residential Appraiser can be that gullible. An inquiring mine wonder's what type of appraisals you right and if you support all of your adjustments on the grid page or maybe you have the book of automatic adjustments. As noted, I do not hide behind a made-up poster name (RustyTapeMeasure) like you do.

Ignorance? Gnaw, just posting to other readers about the availability of the software yet, new. I guess that seems aggressive to you based on your unhinged attack on me. I just thought it was informative to others. Why would I use my real name on a chatboard? NO thanks. Have you noticed that 100's of others do the same thing here as me ? You draw all these conclusions based on zero supporting data yet you claim I am a crummy appraiser? Mirror meet Mr Sturm. The company has no problem with an associate of mine getting a $100 license to put on their computer. But that bothers you immensely I surmise by the trigger tone in your posts attacking me and apparently California as well? Not sure I get that. You are correct I am not interested in your outdated sketch license when the new V7 is available straight from the source. What I was interested in was the sales pitch post with your Subject Title so I opened and read. I would do the same thing out of curiosity if the person posting the selling of a paperclip for $48. You see, I am investigative that way which is partly why I do lots of high end complex here in this horrible place called Calif that you don't like. Again good luck in retirement, I did not mean to try to crush your $145 sale of version 6 software.

I probably should not even reply to your response ~ but here I go. Been using Apex sketching software since 1993. Not sure how long you been utilizing it. From version to version there is not much upgrading with the exception of version 5 to version 6. IN REGARDS TO YOUR POST ABOVE: I do not know too many good appraisers that would attack another appraiser like you. Most appraiser's are busy and do not have time for such bull(***)t. You must have much time to kill to lurk on the forum rather than useful time appraising. Anyone having too much time in an industry that is so busy right now cannot be a good appraiser. I suggest you try to spend more time improving appraising techniques rather than lurking on this forum looking to hurt people. My only wish is that Apex Software reads the forum (particularly this post) and has the way to uncover your real name to stop the illegal selling of their software. As stated previously, why would a software company allow a 3rd party seller to under sell its product (you are suggesting a cost for the new software 1/3 of its sell price) to put the software company out of business. Better be looking over your shoulder as if I were the owner of the software company, I would have investigators out there stopping the illegal selling.

Directly from their website. Buy version 7 for $295 and get additional licenses for $100.
