Are Staff Appraisers paid customary and reasonable fees?

Gotta be PCV Murcor! What a pack of pukes!
It's not PCV Murcor. I think this company puts us as "staff" so they don't have to disclose in the report what the appraiser is paid. But, we get paid per report...with bonuses for reaching certain #s in a day or weekend.

I usually give AMC about $100 profit on a total fee of $800 appraisal. If they have to pay reviewer, reps, and others, AMC doesn't seem to earn that much.
More from AMC means less for me.

do you hate the AMC? good

Here is what I would do if I was in that situation. Find something else. I mean ANYTHING else that has the insurance you need with less liability. You can make more working at Target probably with less stress. Then regroup at the new job, take a breath and wait until the tide turns if you still want to appraise. Everywhere is hiring. (at least in my area). And many jobs are remote. Gig economy apps like dispatchit can also help ease the burden short term if you like to drive. Might have to find a new career choice especially if insurance is a must. Make the move now while the job market is on fire.

@RuralApp are these 1004 desktops, or are they for HELOCs/PMI removal?

No they dont but truth is neither do fee appraiser as there is no enforcement of C & R :) LMAO
You are like a **** in a skilled. Last month you complained that VA appraisal fees are too high. Which is it? :mad2:

Not all staff appraisers do lending work.

There is so much more to the profession than the 1004, 2055 and 1025 forms.
