I don't believe this at all. I'm a libertarian. I don't want someone making decisions for me.

This is like a lord talking with a serf in the 1500s.
But you do want somebody to force the rich to do things they don't want to do. That's most definitely not an example of "you do you and I'll do me".

If brochures existed before printed advertisements, and radio existed before radio commercials, and TV existed before TV commercials, and the internet existed before there were advertisements on the internet..... then why are advertisements "necessary"
Excuse me, Mr libertarian(*), but it's literally none of your business why a company thinks it's "necessary". That's not your money and it's not my money. And speaking of "my money" that's also none of your business.

If brochures existed before printed advertisements
Pretty much the same thing

radio existed before radio commercials
What was "radio" before radio commercials.
TV existed before TV commercials
If I am not mistaken. The very first early tv broadcasts were associated with various "sponsors"

the internet existed before there were advertisements on the internet.
The internet was not originally a commercial system.

then why are advertisements "necessary"
For the same reason you have a website

Do you advertise your appraisal practice in any form or fashion, whatsoever?
Can your company be found on the internet or do you have a business card?
How did your clients find you? Did you walk into a potential clients space and verbally present yourself? i.e. advertise?
Are advertisements really necessary?

I'm a libertarian. I hate government. You don't need some centralized bureaucracy in order for the workers to be empowered to take back what is theirs.

Your not a Libertarion thats just a shield you like to hide behind because you dont want to come out of the closet and it sounds more hip than being a Marxist. I have read all of your Political and economic Ideologies you have posted and there straight out of my collections of communist manifestos. I have no problem with
( ACP ) People or members, because unlike you at least they tell you who and what they are.

Having studied undergrad at a college that embraced libertarianism and followed the philosophy of Ludwig Von Mises, I don't recall hating government as one of its tenets.

Oh, I thought he was saying he was a librarian.

What ratio? Obviously the office staff would be paid less than the appraisers. But if the office staff helps the appraiser do their job better, then what's the problem? Everyone makes more money with office staff, right?
You seem like an obvious internet troll. Are you?

You HONESTLY don't see the difference between a personal business card and street billboard? Nobody has to look at the business card. You can reject a business card every single time. Nobody has to go to my website. I can't avoid looking at billboards.

I have a website, but I just use it as my business card. I don't advertise on google or anything. I don't use SEO. It's just for people to get my info. I get my clients by requesting work from people directly and signing up for AMCs/Banks online.

"Libertarians can't have personal opinions. Libertarians think that anyone can do whatever they want at any time!" :ROFLMAO:

Do you think junk food companies should be able to advertise to children directly? That's a good thing for society?
