Got any stats on that? Don't know anyone I worked with that did that, up here in the North.
Carnivore, sorry for sounding so harsh, was not my intention. I apologize. I just wanted to share my personal experience. I thought it might help.
TC, I though a lot about this, LOL.
I measured this home for a real estate agent. Went under contract, appraiser came out....appraiser appraised it under contract. Listing agent calls me up saying my sketch is off. I had to go back out there and re-measure....I told her to send a copy of the appraisal to me. Looked him up on the ASC website. Dumbass rounded. 175 sqft lower!!
I have two appraisals that are from up North, both rounded to the nearest foot? Maybe it is a particular state thing?
Wasted my time. Another reason I got out of the measuring business. To much of a head ache.
What if the shoe was on the other foot and I messed up? buyer/seller pissed off, both agents pissed off. Liability is another issue.
