Everyone knew egg prices would fall but it was Bird Flu that caused millions of hens to be slaughtered and buried. Once the hatcheries rebuilt the supply of hens (which takes about 18-22 weeks before they lay their first egg), prices went down. How about beef? Chicken? Cheese? Veggies of about any kind?

After a sleepy time during the past couple of years, Cox found that nationwide the rate of vehicle repos had increased a whopping 20.4%. And foreclosure activity appears to have been increasing steadily through 2023. September alone saw an 11% jump in foreclosure filings to 37,679, up 18% from September of last year, researchers added.

And housing is at the tip of the iceberg. In October 2023, Nashville home prices were down 1.9% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $451K. On average, homes in Nashville sell after 50 days on the market compared to 42 days last year.

And just in time for Christmas - Walmart is projecting weak sales. Banking giant Citigroup started planned layoffs Wednesday after CEO Jane Fraser announced a corporate overhaul in September. A final number of how many will be affected by the cuts hasn't been disclosed yet, but sources told CNBC the bank could let go of "at least 10% in several major businesses." (ps- Citi employs nearly one-quarter million people worldwide). The economy is slowly but surely slowing and backing off.

Russia is selling oil for massive amounts of gold and other goods and services , kinda like bartering and most of it's off the books so we have no idea how many Billions they are getting . BUT unlike United States they are not a big debtor and it's not a consumer economy and so its citizens have felt very little effect in their personal lifes as nothing has changed.

The Economic Sanctions have actually hurt us and the World more than Russia and now we have massive inflation due to Hundreds of Billions of Printed money going into Ukraine and other Proxy Wars.

We did not learn out lesson in the Vietnam War spending which created the late seventies hyper inflation
O' well Russia will be just fine, it's the consumer driven economies who are and will suffer the most.

Putin said Biden's initial sanctions really hurt Russia. Now Russia's economy is growing.
I can't believe the propaganda coming from there.
What we know is many are dying from the war and Putin can put a stop to it.
