Bidumbnomics

Here is a good one. One of the Dems running for Feinstein's Senate seat is proposing a $50 minimum wage for CA.
We have four leading candidates to take over Feinstein's Senate seat.
Barblara Lee, a very Progressive Congresswoman from Oakland and thank God she's least likely to win.
Then there's Katie Porter who is a Progressive Congresswoman from SoCAL. Don't know much about her unlike Schiff who led the fight against Trump when the nation needed someone to stand up against Tyrant Trump.
And there's Steve Garvey, the only GOP who said his first priority is dealing with the homeless by auditing where all the billions of government money have gone. Besides being a great baseball player, he was unheard of and thinks he can win on his name recognition. He has to campaign and hide his support for Trump. Otherwise, he has no chance at all.
Thus we end up with Schiff who is the least Progressive Democrate. If Steve Garvey doesn't win, MAGAs better hope the moderate Schiff wins.
The Democrat who wins in CA March 5 election has it in the bag to be CA next Senator.

And why isn't there a poll that Trump is too old?
He took a cognitive test. Biden hasn't and his doctor won't tell him to. If he did, the 25th Amendment would be on the table.

So much for Ferd's cheap handyman work...So good-bye to fast food joints. Say hello to vending machine sandwiches.

Yellen is absolutely tone-deaf to the reality of the lower and middle class. This is the same idiot claiming FUTURE administrations will have to concern themselves with the deficit (but of course, Biden will spend like a drunken sailor in a Ho' house.)

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said "American workers are getting ahead" now that their pay is growing faster than inflation, making the Biden administration's case that the U.S. has rebounded from the economic calamity caused by the pandemic.
The reality is that only in the previous few months has wage growth exceeded inflation and no where near catching up the ground lost since 2021 started.

Cheap handyman work... you know, people also wish they could have cheap appraisals.

Are you saying the only logical solution to a lack of bad food is worse food? Actually, vending machine sandwiches may be better for you than fast food. The best solution would be to start eating better.

Fast food and fast food wages are exploitation.

Maybe so. But what is the person to do that only has a half hour for lunch or the electrician or plumber that stops between appointments. What about the parent that has to feed their family between jobs and really doesn't have the time to cook. Personally I stop at fast food places rarely. But there are times when it may be the only choice.

Well...carry a 12v microwave around and a small 12 v fridge with a TV dinner (I guess they don't call them that now)

Yes, indeed. If you have to work to eat, you are being exploited. But how many appraisers genuinely earn $50 an hour? That's 100k a year and I bet not one out of 3 nets $50 an hour. But how much will it add to a roofing job if your hands get double wages? How much will a framing crew charge for framing a house? How much will it cost to detail the car, buy a coke in the C store? And, how much more would it cost the government and how much would that raise you taxes? I would bet it raises your taxes 50% or more. And for anything that is voluntary - like that Coke or sandwich...well, you just eschew it and that eventually means one after another, the employed become unemployed and unemployable.
