US government benefitted from high inflation making prior bonds depreciate.
Since most of the Treasury bonds are owned by foreigners especially Japan and China, we came out ahead at other countries' expense.

Nobody benefitted from anything. Devaluing the dollar to service debt should be criminal. It now takes 20% of the budget to service the debt. Meanwhile, poor sap taxpayers are now spending $130 to get $100 worth of groceries.

Biden is subsidizing "Green" energy which includes wood pellets - specifically pellets being sold to Britain to fuel their wood pellet fired plants which actually emit more CO2 than coal. Nevertheless, in doing so they are oblivious to the pollution created by this biomass monster. But do they subsidize geothermal which is far less pollution... crickets.
