There is no way they can push for data collection as appraisal experience. Can’t have it both ways. I mean, I know these guys are lying scumbag pieces of ****, but even that’s below them.

they talk from both sides of their mouths...like a serpent :rof:

They f us

cott DiBiasio. Back Row (L-R): Richard Earley, Vanessa Hall, Mike Elwell, Nathan Pippin, Shep Overton and Monica Long

Linda Nelson and Monica Long, both members of NCAI, attended to represent NCPAC leadership. NCPAC is working jointly with NCAI to oppose SB 690, and has been instrumental in this effort.

We started the day with plans to lobby, and thanks to multiple interactions by Jon Hardister and Sebastian King, we quicky transitioned to negotiating with the proponents of SB 690 at the behest of the bill sponsors. Our engagement with all parties was positive and much progress was made. The bill is currently under revision and we expect to have a final draft for review shortly. The revised bill is likely to be heard by the NC Senate Commerce and Insurance Committee on Tuesday, May 6th. Representatives of NCAI and NCPAC will be on hand to testify and answer questions for legislators.

Our chapter members and our team of lobbyists were extremely effective and we are grateful for their time and their commitment to protecting NC appraisers. We could not have chosen a better team to represent our interests.

Protecting appeaisers....WTF?

She's a long time re agent....explains it.

There's over 100k re agents in nc.....there's already a gross over supply of appraisers in NC.

Makes me wonder where all of this money is coming from??? What are the sources.

Interesting I read the bill and seems the sponsors are saying there's a shortage
of appraisers in North Carolina.

The Republicans seem to be the main supporters of the Bill. But PAREA money is the push coming from lenders.

The AI did send a letter against the bill.

Wtf were they protecting?

Appraisers from AMCs?

From AMCs that control wages and orders?

From hybrids and non appraisers performing PCRs?

From national firms?

From national firms that are buying out smaller firms?

Protecting NC appraisers from out of state appraisers doing hybrids?

What a bunch of horse shet.

Funny thing is that the president for ncpac specializes in non lender work...talk about being out of the loop?
