Call to action for NC Appraisers

The sponsers say there's a shortage of appraisers in the State of NC ? What are they using to prove that ? Someone believes it and proved it to the Three Republicans that got it into the Senate.

how lowlife is it to bribe officials to make laws...that is not in the constitution either  :rof:

There is no way they can push for data collection as appraisal experience. Can’t have it both ways. I mean, I know these guys are lying scumbag pieces of ****, but even that’s below them.
I completely agree.

These PDCs are taking inventory of the property attributes, basically counting beans. No different than taking a picture or scanning a barcode. They are not performing analyses, opinions and conclusions about the value. No research, no trend analyses, no search for comparables, no comparisons with other properties, none of the mental work it takes to value a property.

These proposals are not wrong because they're contradicting each other or because they don't recognize the logical disconnect. They're wrong because they're wrong.

I thought that was for PAREA students not PDC inspectors. The State Bill deals with different things. PAREA due to shortage of new appraisers. PDC inspectors to do physical inspections.

PAREA seems to be the sponsers biggest push to get new licensees working in SC. ?

and paschal agrees with you...

You guys should run your own re-education camp, where everyone sits around the table mindlessly memorizing the instructions for the 1004 form, and chanting in unison:

"There is only one appraisal under the heavens and the 1004 is its name. Blessed be the NPCs."
"There is only one appraisal under the heavens and the 1004 is its name. Blessed be the NPCs."
"There is only one appraisal under the heavens and the 1004 is its name. Blessed be the NPCs."
It might present as more intelligent if you do it in Sanskrit or some other dead language.

Where do you go through 2 states in 3 miles? Where do you pass through another state to get to a non connected state in 3 miles?
I see that you are in Maryland, if you live in Frederick, MD you can easily be in any one of 4 states plus DC in less than an hour drive (Maryland - 0 minutes, Virginia - 20 minutes, West Virginia - 25 minutes, Pennsylvania - 30 minutes, DC - 45 minutes (not at rush hour obviously).

Those are the exceptions. We can makes exceptions. Something that we all should be able to agree on is that an appraiser with a license in Colorado should not have an active license in New York, North Carolina, Florida, California, and Georgia. I don’t even understand how that argument can be made. Unless they were planning to move to one of those states and within six months provide verification that they live there.

Things this basic in this profession should not be such heavy lifts.

Don't over think it your going to get a headache. How many States can you drive your car across on one license ?

The months almost over, how many appraisals have you done in may?
