Its addressed in Fannie/Freddie's pre-printed certification (#21). The client is free to distribute the report to "...data collection or reporting services."

Anytime you've signed a 1004 report, you've acknowledged that.

So, if you work for Corelogic as an appraiser, and you use their software, and the client agrees to let Corelogic use the data, that's compliant with the USPAP and the signed certification (as it exists today).

Yes. And I have no idea why the sale of ala would surprise people or why they couldn’t see this acquisition coming once Corelogic got their hands on the Mercury network.

Personally, at this point I careth not what they do. And though they own the software I rent from them and have access to my data I refuse to send completed reports through their delivery system, use their vault or cloud storage.
