...I was wondering if Pittsburgh Pete has chimed in yet and if he had an opinion. He was so full of opinion about 7 years ago.

Speaking of opinion, anyone seen Mr. Rexie?

the sky is falling as much as it did 7 years ago. :eyecrazy: At least that's my assumption. Have been too busy to notice--keeping my head down and my nose to the grindstone. Haven't had time to look up for falling sky!

There he is...my nemesis...Surprised to see you in this thread...since it concerns residential appraisal for mortgage lending....you being a commercial guy and out of touch with the daily goings on of residential appraisal.

While we're on the topic...do you even use a form software? Is there a UAD protocol for strip malls and hair salons?

You're right---apparently I am your nemesis:

noun, plural nemeses

[nem-uh-seez] (Show IPA)
1.
something that a person cannot conquer, achieve, etc.:
The performance test proved to be my nemesis.
2.
an opponent or rival whom a person cannot best or overcome.
3.
(initial capital letter) Classical Mythology. the goddess of divine retribution.
4.
an agent or act of retribution or punishment.

So you do know a little bit about tech Pete....you obviously can copy and paste...I'm so proud of you...such a good boy.

also know the English language very well--you should give it a try.

I bet Corelogic was singing appraisal shortage along with the rest.

I was half expecting you to name the form software you use....or at least talk about what percentage of mortgage-related appraisal services you perform.

But we all know the answers are none and none.

I only do residential if it involves litigation. Have a residential appraiser on staff but overall residential mortgage work is a small chunk of our biz! We use ACI btw.

So this should be your last post here. You have no skin in the game...Bye!

Yes. And I have no idea why the sale of ala would surprise people or why they couldn’t see this acquisition coming once Corelogic got their hands on the Mercury network.

mercury had nothing to do with alamode for a while now. serent capital purchased the mercury network from alamode in 2015 in an all-cash transaction. they then sold 45% of the stock to corelogic in 2017 and eventually the remaining 55% later the same year.
