Corelogic Just Acquired Alamode

mercury had nothing to do with alamode for a while now. serent capital purchased the mercury network from alamode in 2015 in an all-cash transaction. they then sold 45% of the stock to corelogic in 2017 and eventually the remaining 55% later the same year.
And so?

This really stinks. Corelogic is buying up appraisal software and AMC’s like crazy. Expect higher prices; less competitive fees. I would switch software, but I’m about ready to retire in a few years and don’t want to deal with it. I’ve used alamode for nearly 17 years. Used ACI before then and switched. So I’m kind of locked in.
They own ACI too, read my post and make a comment by the 18th. It’s like owning coke and Pepsi. Anti-trust disgrace.

"We are the Borg. Your software and technological distinctiveness will be added to CoreLogic. Resistance is futile."
They want your data so they can sell it and use it to put you all out of business.

Corelogic wants the appraisal industry to fail. Then they can go to congress and the senate and get rid of the appraisal requirement (that uses an appraiser) and require lenders to at least use a system like theirs and now they get the whole $550.00 their charging. They may pay some poor bum (a former appraiser that gave up his data) to go out and inspect the Subject for $50.00 and provide them with photos for the big data. We can call the DOJ at 855-856-1247. Also call your state DOJ and see if there is anything there that can be done. Also contact Bob Goodlatte who sits on the Judiciary committee that over sees enforcement of antitrust regs. I am still looking up who to contact. I am also going to contact my local board of realtors to educate them on Corelogic. I hated it when we gave up our own MLS program. Corelogic is going after them too. It's only a matter of time before Zillow and Corelogic merge. Then the whole real estate industry is doomed and it will be our own fault for using them and standing by and letting it happen.
I posted where to send the information. They are already in trouble, but comments by the public must be done by the 18th.

Just got this in e-mail from software provider. Left out info concerning software provider instructions.

ATTENTION Corelogic Valuation Solution (CLVS) Users
Corelogic Valuation Solutions (CLVS) is rolling out a new way of delivering appraisals. It's called the Single Appraiser Experience and all single appraisers’ setup will be migrated to this new system on Tuesday.

The benefits of this new system is that for all Corelogic appraisal orders, you will:
a. Have one way to receive orders
b. Have one way to provide status updates
c. Have one way to run pre-delivery rules prior to delivery
d. Have one way to deliver reports back to Corelogic
