Corelogic Just Acquired Alamode

I believe FA held a minority interest for some time after the spin off. FA is now private I believe .
Huh? FA is a publicly traded company that trades on the NYSE under the ticker symbol FAF
 
If one is on RELS exclusionary list, does that status transfer to alamode?
 
In last 2 weeks since the takeover my software ( alamode is full of bugs, makes changes I did not ask gets stuck in UAD fields.

Yea my software has been acting up. Its like I watched alamode reach the pinnacle of good customer service. Now I get to watch their slow painful downfall

Hope not. I just fired RELS. Told them to take me off their list. I got tired of all the hassles with their delivery system. Plus they have Wells Fargo as a client and their reviewers are a complete PITA. In fact I don’t do anymore appraisals for Wells Fargo.
 
. I predict the next generation of alamode software will be cloud based. I always thought the term "cloud" was hilarious, as well as intentionally misleading.

Forgive me if you're being facicious...


But Alamode's new Titan Reports IS cloud based. So basically, almamode users will soon be entering their data directly into corelogic's servers.

It’s hard to know what will happen. Clearly they will look for other avenues for valuations. Especially if there are large downpayments.

In fact I had a situation where a brother of a friend of mine (who is an appraiser) had a bridge loan appraisal done by a real estate agent that never walked into the house and the data she used was completely wrong. Friends brother couldn’t believe it.
