Deck with no railing

Whenever I'm on the floor, either by accident or on purpose, I take a moment to look around and see if there's anything that needs doing while I'm down there.
Are you talking about the dance floor?

I used to could jump off a 3' retaining wall without even thinking about it. I have to crawl down them now...
"used to" is a good phrase. I bet you "used to" could jump off house and be fine. LOL

How many of you have a Disability or Workmens Comp. policy? I don't know 1. If we fall, basement, attic stairs, loft or just a raised deck, WE pay out of pocket for lost work. How could we incorporate this statement into an addendum for the Cubicle Dwellers that will send us anywhere to inspect anything without further thought.
I was at a party last summer with a bunch of old attorneys, (on a large high deck), I mentioned the situation and many agreed that I had recourse against the company that sent me there.

Oh yes, well, it does always come down to lawyers. The roofer guy told me this story about a lady whom let a contractor onto her roof, and he was a roofing person. He fell off and broke his back. She checked his insurance or credential or whatever, I don't remember. But the point was she was liable, because she let him go on her roof. Roof guy said she lost her home and it was a real mess, why people should never use the single guys and only go for big established companies. He said he was shelling out seven thousand a month just on insurance for his various roofing crews. Lawyers.
