Do not count laundry room as a room

Bathrooms are counted as their own line and not added to the total room count. A laundry room is similar - used for brief periods of time but not lived in, or used like a normal room is. Builders don't count a laundry room as a room.
I suppose if an appraiser does count it no har,m done, but it is silly. Even most RE agents don;t add it to the room count

I found this:
FHA Single Family Housing Appraisal Report and Data Delivery Guide states pertaining to room count "To complete this section, enter the total number of above-grade rooms, the total number of bedrooms above grade, and the total number of bathrooms above grade. Do not include foyers, basement finished rooms or unfinished attic space. This is the total above-grade room count." The laundry room is included in the room count.

My house was appraised 3 times. No one counted the laundry room which is a separate room with a door and the HVAC inside it too.
Is it finished? floor covering, finished walls and ceiling?

Where is that link? I have never counted bathrooms in the total room count, even RE agents don't; do that.

Usually, room count is for the rooms and bathrooms get their own numerical count on the grid, look at teh URAR form in the sales grid.

Okay, I see the issue- it reads:

Enter the total number of above-grade rooms, the total number of bedrooms above-grade, AND the total number of bathrooms above grade. Idk, this is weird, as the URAR grid has a separate box for bathrooms and normally they are not included in teh total room count.

Did you put in the last line of the laundry room is included in the room count?.
