No need he is on point.

Maybe people should start sending their thoughts to you for approval before posting. :new_smile-l:

if one likes working for AMCs fine, just don't come on the board and ***** that they aren't treating you nicely, it is yesterday's news.

I lasted about three months on the program. They were paying $165.00 for a 1004. That was $15.00 more than I was getting as an apprentice. I got one that was 6000 square feet, not a 90 degree corner in the whole house. It had 18 bay windows. To top it off there was three feet of snow around most of the perimeter. It took me almost two hours to measure it, two hours to drive there and back. I lost money before I ever sat down at the computer. It was right after that I got a phone monkey call at 7:00 AM on a Sunday morning. I guess it was Monday morning in Bangladesh or Afghanistan or wherever on the subcontinent they were calling from. I put myself on permanent vacation. Eappraiseit sucks.

Perhaps not everyone spends as much time reading the board. The OP has seven posts here. Many topics are redundant and I hardly think Karl's response was reasonable. Sorry.

Actually I think the person, can't tell if male of female . has some Ba backbone to even admit he LOVES AMC work. & of course there is NO pressure to hit the numbers he/she will just see it in the amount of orders flow. I just wanted to know IF he had reading capabilities cause there is certainly enough information already on here that in order to work for AMC's you simply do as your told. nothing more nothing less just do what they say,

The fact that someone had to have Trained at least shown him/her how to fill out forms, that the one I should but don't feel sorry for. He/She created TWO headaches the Trainor (word used losely in todays sense) salary is reduced & now has another contributor to the downgrading of a once professional job!!

GOSH!! I tried to give some advice that he may want a PROFESSIONAL to read over the contracts that he has signed, Cause I did note he/she only had seven postings.

Anyone that has read this forum for any amout of time that thinks I'll become "Politically Correct" or Sensitive to anyones feelings. Needs to reread my postings.

Does this sound like price fixing to anyone?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Price_fixing

many businesses price fix. seems that us appraisers are the only ones that seem worried about it.

I'm no longer worried about price fixing. But I'm crazy and in favor of a national appraisers union and standard base fees. Sort of like how realtors price fix.

No need to re-read your postings. You have always been allowed to attack others at a level that nobody else here can get away with for years.

BTW - it has nothing to do with being "Politically Correct", one of the more misused terms of the last 15 years. It has to do with attacking someone for a post that hardly deserves it.

Edit to add - This
Anyone on here want to take the credit for this "PROFESSIONAL Appraiser" ????????

is hardly giving advice.

Sorry BUT I see no attack in my posting guess you read deeper than most; A question to the best of my knowledge is not an attack. & I suggest that ALL Appraisers that sign any contract with any lender have a professional from the E&O read it.

EAPPRAISEIT EMAILED THIS TO ME WHEN I AKED ABOUT BECOMING A PREFERRED APPRAISER. YES, I WORK WORK AMC's MAINLY LSI AND I ENJOY IT. I GET TO FEED MY FAMILY AND AM NOT PRESSURED TO HIT NUMBERS. HOWEVER, EAPPRAIEIT SEEMS TO IGNORE THE ETHICS RULE WITH THIS RESPONSE I RECIEVED.

This is to let you know that the preferred fees are the set fees which are not negotiable and to be a preferred appraiser, he has to agree to the given set fees for all the products and they cannot decline orders. If you remain as a broadcast appraiser, you can negotiate with the fees and also have a choice to accept the order as the orders are blanket emailed to all available broadcast appraisers

Please let us know if you want to be a preferred or remain as a broadcast appraiser.

Thanks and regards,

WOW. BLINDLY ACCEPTING ORDERS AND U CAN NOT REJECT THE ORDER BASED ON COMPETENCY OR ISSUES THAT ARISE WHILE DEVELOPING THE SCOPE OF WORK......... GEEEEEES

You are already working for them, so that says a lot about you. Hint, get yourself a good crack pipe, smoke some more, fry your brain more than it already is, and sign it. It'll be good for you and put even more food on the table for your family.

If you become confined with dogs, don't complain when you get up smelling like dog shyt. Sheesh.

No offense, of course. :icon_mrgreen:

AMC work?

For those of you who refuse to do work with AMC's, what are you going to do after 9/1/2008? All lenders will be using AMCs, and I mean ALL lenders. All the whining in the world isn't going to beat the AMC machine!
