Eappraiseit's Preferred Appraiser Requirements

I was going to edit my posts to Karl - but they've been quoted so I don't see the point. And, I know he can take it.

However, I was on him for something only somewhat related (which I've informed him of) and was over the top in my response. Sorry about that, Karl.

Edit to add - this is not an "I'm sorry if I offended" apology. No if included.

With all the valuable information I've learned from you over the years, & the frustration that those of us have endured over the years as to what would be happening is now happening how can we NOT at times say something that might not even make sense or was to quick of a response without considering that many newbies & lurkers are here. Mr Stone is rated in my book as one of the BEST on here. & I also know he can take anything I'm capable of putting out there.

BUT many on here KNOW that there are changes in the air that most for some reason can't seem to grasp. Some changes are negative & we can't wait to get those out!!!BUT there are some that may lead to positive these changes are being done by those that have to go through so many channels & legal loopholes that most have no clue are happening. I can't stress enough that IF you find that you may NOT have been properly trained or under "pressure" to do things that don't seem right!! You BETTER start thinking of reporting them yourself to your STATE!! YES then paass them on to PAM. do NOT just rely on Pam to do it for you. Pam may someday soon be moving on to other things than who'll you have.

This is actully one of the negatives of the Internet & Public Forums. You have NO idea IF your reading things from someone that knows more than you do, or if your reading stuff from a Bull Shhhh artist. Only YOU can decide!!

P.S. To assist in your decision, check the history of this Forum.

Foot Note:
It's Tax time you may want to get a clear definition of Subcontractor, employee. Remember this will be a year the Feds will be looking for INCOME for them!!!
Watch the Fed X case & decide IF you want to go up against IRS.

If eAppraiseIt has 'preferred' appraisers why would they
ever need a broadcast appraiser?

If eAppraiseIt were price fixing, then so is Walmart and
Costco. They go to a vendor and say, this is our spec
this is what we'll pay.

Not so much rather they're price fixing. BUT what about the Appraiser paying a FEE to obtain work, AMC charges $350 for an Appraisal the Appraiser does it for 150. IS this the reason AMC's won't let you do COD's cause then you'd be giving a "Kick Back" to the one that gives you the work. However since you agreed to do work for a fee Is it irrelavent what the AMC charged? OR could it be under USPAP & IRS laws & the HUD statement showing the Appraisal FEE (nothing about anything else JUST Appraisal Fee consentrate on that) . as being 350. Could it be possible that the Appraiser MAY have to defend his 150 actual payment versing the 350 that a borrower claims he paid?? With PROOF from the HUD Statement. NOTE the HUD Statement says Appraisal Fee!!!

Now lets look at the IRS power over the power of Appraiser or any organization he/she may be a member of.

IRS verses Appraiser now there is a story!!!

Do what I'm doing now.

For those of you who refuse to do work with AMC's, what are you going to do after 9/1/2008? All lenders will be using AMCs, and I mean ALL lenders. All the whining in the world isn't going to beat the AMC machine!

Tomorrow I have two inspections, an Estate and a Divorce. You are a General Licensed Appraiser and you support AMCs? Do you have some peons going out there and doing your field work for pocket change?

PS: AMCs is not possessive.

Continue not to work for AMCs?

Where is it written that all appraisal work is lending work?

Dave and Kevin continue to pat themselves on the back for their stable of non lending clients, like they are immune to supply and demand forces as appraisers. Gloat while you can, as always, clients are looking for cheaper alternatives, and you continue to advertise the superiority of your clientele.:new_smile-l:

Who said I support AMCs? I'm simply stating the facts. No I don't have "peons" working for me. Its pretty sad that someone such as yourself, who holds themself in such high regard, constantly resorts to calling anybody without a license names. Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't you once a "peon". Its so easy for you to forget where you once were, and how fortunate you are that someone gave you a chance to be an appraiser. Very ungrateful.

Apparently.

you must be privy to information the rest of us aren't. Who said ALL lenders will be using AMCs? I have not read that anywhere. All I have read is that FNMA/Freddie will not accept Broker ordered appraisals. So am I to assume that every appraisal performed in the past several years ended up on FNMA/Freddie's books? There are quite a few folks out there who will tell you differently. Was I once a peon?, of course we all were. I was hired by an appraisal firm straight out of college many years ago. I took my classes with the Institute as they were the only game in town back then. I have and will always be grateful for the opportunity I was given but truth be told, it was just a job out of college, nothing more. I didn't know many years later I would still be doing it.

So I'll tell you what Rescom, when you get the "facts" like you stated about where will be 9/1/2008 please let us all know, right now you are just making assumptions from a few press releases. Nothing has been carved in stone..

So what are the Zaioistas up to?:new_all_coholic:
