Global Economy Bursting?

:rof: Just goes to prove Obama is no Hitler. :rof:

Unless someone is exterminating a portion of their countries population I do not think the name "Hitler" belongs in the discussion. I can tollerate "Nazi" anytime there is blind devotion to a cause whether right or wrong, but the little monster himself should not be brought into most discussions as a label.

There is a little problem with your theory. Martin Borman was Hitler's secretary. Borman's son went three years to Hitler Youth Camp. After his third year he came to his dad Borman and stated that after 3 years of camp he still didn't know what Nazism and National Socialsim mean. Mr. Borman replied: "They mean whatever Adolph Hitler says they mean and don't you ever forget that fact." To the leave the name Hitler out of the discussion of Nazism is like having a discussion on human sexuality and leave out all reference to the human body.

Is the New "TD Bank" a facist plunder plot?

... I like excitement .... I admit it .....

... so here it is ...

.... A new large elephant conglomerate with lots of money for new signs and money to buy large numbers of PT Chrysler Crusier vehicles is taking over banks here in the South .....

..... they brag openly on the radio with a Freudian slip ........ "the night owl gets there before the early bird" ...

..... the new Hitler comes in the form of PT Crusiers who take all the cash and empty the safes in the bank in the middle of the night .....

..... banks with lots of company owned vehicles worry me ...... easy transport strategy in place .... to plunder the public

Economy Faces a Jolt as Benefit Checks Run Out

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/11/b...covery.html?_r=1&nl=todaysheadlines&emc=tha25

Close to $2 of every $10 that went into Americans’ wallets last year were payments like jobless benefits, food stamps, Social Security and disability.

The politicians and those economists talking up a recovery are looking for cover; more stimulus spending is the answer.

Fixing the blame is more important that fixing the problem.

I like the idea. One Liberal and One Conservative state ='s zero sum political influence for the staste as it exist. I like leaving the union even better. They can put a fence around the entire state and sell tickets to others to visit the zoo.

A Small City’s Depleted Pension Fund Rattles Rhode Island

This going to be a huge problem for unions in all states. The town of Central Falls, R.I. runs out of money this October and is already under receivership. The next step is bankruptcy court which will decide the question of union contracts; can they be terminated? If so, what will take its place and what monies will be available to pay benefits.

Investors in municipal bonds are not going to buy bonds if the bankruptcy court decides to give them a haircut so pensions can be paid.

U.S. trade gap of $50.2 billion highest since 2008

Not to worry - it only subtracts from GDP growth. And, it means more of personal income is devoted to fuel costs and that means, although retail sales might go up, less money is available to spend on consumption.

It will be the highest badge of stupidity that our president can wear - green energy, no drilling allowed.

Amazon aims to have voters decide on sales-tax law

I love democracy - I don't appreciate a republic or representative democracy. A direct vote of the people, especially on matters of taxation, is harder to buy than a representative.

Big money is gearing up for the fight: on one side we have Wal-Mart, labor groups and others that benefit from taxation. On the other side, we have consumers who love a bargain and Amazon who is in the business of offering bargains.
