Glad I made it up to Flathead County 8 years ago - beautiful - Mission Mountain Range

Definitely land people

When I die and go to heaven - I am going to ask St. Peter if I can stay awhile in Kali-spell first.

Or you could GOTOHELL

Or you could GOTOHELL

I have only one way to go and that is up. The best grace I discovered is when I dropped religion altogether - now I wave my hands every Sunday in church - just a laughing and a singing - cause nobody got nothing on me

No fear here

See you at the top

On the news tonight it was reported our local school systems will be out more money than they budgeted for insurance. One will have to come up with $750,000 - $1.5 million extra to cover staff that hasn't normally been covered by the existing policies. The teachers, OTOH, will see an increase in their share with the cost of the "Gold" plan being so "draconian" that the teachers will average about $800 a MONTH increase in their share. If they go to the "Silver" plan, it will run about the same, even slightly less per MONTH but from $25 deductable to $1,500. Spousal coverage will increase. The "Bronze" plan is basically a 50/50 plan and that makes it pretty worthless when you consider heart surgery could easily run $100,000. My helper had 2 MRIs, a CT scan, and the bill was $14,000.

Sharpe - is Japans' canary calling for help

Picked up a good read on Japan from "The Economist" symposium - that country needs help more than anything else in the world right now.

Sounds like they are right at the edge ....

You want to see where we are going ... ? watch Japan ...... its not looking too good ....

Greece and Europe and not in near the immediate bad shape that Japan is in.

They are completely broke.

The company "Sharpe" - needs outside money - Japan does not have it ....

Stage: David Einhorn - creative mind - brilliant

http://dealbook.nytimes.com/2012/10/25/david-einhorn-continues-his-take-down-of-fed-policy/

I listened to David Einhorn yesterday in a symposium he did with "The Economist" magazine. The man is brilliant. He has a creative mind and yet at the same time can talk the "academic walk through" ...

... he talks about the "reflexive" mind set tendencies of movers and shakers

.... attached is his disagreement with FED policies ..... via NYT

Bernekie has said he is stepping down in January. Given the universal disdain for his Fed policies, except in the WH, probably just ahead of a very messy investigation, especially with the stuff that has come out about the Fed overseas bank lending. Hopefully, Richard Fisher of the Dallas Fed will be offered to replace him. He has been the leader of the opposition in the Fed.
