Yes, welcome Marty! Good luck in your new area! Will be sure to send something your way if possible!

Welcome, Marty!

We occasionally receive requests for your area and we'll keep you in mind.

Hope you're able to get a lot of fishing in. Let me know what type you're interested in and I may be able to help get you jump-started. 8)

Better yet, when I get my boat I will let you know. I will do saltwater and I have a friend on the other coast that loves bass fishing, so we probably will trade trips.

Thanks for the welcomes.....!!

I have some continuing ed to get done before the end of the year, so I will be interested to know what everyone thinks about the most interesting teachers. I will have to take C (nobody is intersting for that). Maybe one other course for hours.

For CE where you actually want to learn something, I recommend the AI courses. McKissock is also pretty good.

I haven't had a lot of experience with the others, but did attend a few that were not worth the time and money.

I've always taken all of mine from Steve Williamson, at Real Estate Education Specialists. He is in Orlando, but gives CE classes all over the state. I think I'm going to try the online CE this year. Hope I don't regret it. Wish I could find someone who has already taken it!

Personally, I like going out of town and taking a real class. I get away and the class discussions are usually as good as or better than the actual class material.

I am Waaaaay to fidgety to like sitting in class, even though I will admit here that you probably learn more sitting in class. Once I pay and go, then I feel I owe it to myself to learn something. I was so miserable at the last one, as we were so busy and I hated taking the time away.

Pam, I have tried many over the years, and McKissock is pretty good, but more expensive than most, though they will usually give a discount if pushed. I have used Steve Williamson who Judy recommended, but he doesn't allow any questions in class. And like you say, that is where the best information comes out. That is one reason I will pay more for a McKissock class. I like and learn from the discussion pro and con on a subject. And I still get credit for the CE.
