Hi all,
I just found this thread, but, better late than never. Appraisal Alliance, Inc. has 7 St. Cert appraisers with experience ranging from 13-25 years.

We cover 5 counties in the Tampa Bay area: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Manatee and Sarasota. The appraiser that services a particular coounty lives in that county (we all work out of our homes). When I'm out marketing, I tell prospective clients they can get local knowledge AND one stop shopping, in that all orders are received and processed by my wife/office manager.

Judy, Pam, Frank and I have referred business to each other. I'll keep the rest of you in mind, too. I have a client here in Apollo Beach who is looking for a Lakeland appraiser to give business to.

I am looking for an appraiser in Manatee and Sarasota Counties to do work for me on a split fee basis.

Pam, thanks for setting this up. It's a good idea.

Hi, Mike, and welcome again!

We'll definitely keep you in mind as we get requests for the areas you cover. I know one st. cert. appraiser in Manatee Co. who may be interested in your split fee offer. I'll contact him and let you know.

Regards,

Wally

Hi Folks,
Just discovering this thread, the last 4 months have not allowed more more than breathing. I'm a State Certified General and have been appraising Charlotte and Lee Counties for the last 26 years. I'm VA, FHA approved and EDI capable. Can deliver good turn times on residential, slow turn time on commercial. Full service firm that does not hit numbers. Citrus and tropical fruit groves are a specialty. Looking forward to meeting you all at FREAB. I'm already on the hook to Pam for attendence, just been tardy with posting lately.

I'm a retired medevac helicopter pilot (Vietnam and Desert Storm) and some of you may know me through my veteran activities.

I look forward to meeting all of you and grateful to know other ethical appraisers for reference. While I know of the local ones like Dennis, I've had requests for other area appraisers, and no one to refer them to.
What a great idea!

Mike,

Glad you found us. It is a shame you don't hit numbers. I always hit the right one (LOL). I'll keep my eyes open for you standing in the road with a camera. Be careful, the snowbirds are coming in. See you at FREAB.

Hi Dennis,
Getting to old to hit numbers, aim is no good anymore. Got to pretty much take it like it comes out, not smart enough to make it say what it isn't. Really interested in FREAB, if ya like, I'll share a ride. I promised Pam....you don't want to get on her bad side, she'll mobile home ya, LOL.
Lets get together and eat a bean (read lunch), I know you're busy being a teach right now, but when things catch up, call me.
Is the little woman still teaching? Good to have dedicated teachers in this part of the world.
Call me, lets go fishin
Mike

Wally, I helped build Apollo Beach way back when. Actually, we put all the seawall in those canals. I worked for a Marine contractor out of St Petersburg. I'm in Bradenton and appraise in Manatee and Sarasota counties, and have been for 25+ years. Apollo Beach was going to be the new Tampa according to the developer, but it never got there.

Jim,

I used to catch a lot of fish from those seawalls when I was in high school. (A verrrry long time ago!). Now that I'm a more sophisticated fisherman with a cool boat, I fly across the bay, sometimes don't catch much, and spend a bundle on tackle and gas. Would probably do me good to take a step backwards and dip a shrimp over there when the water starts to cool down.
