Help Needed - State Denying License Upgrade

This sounds like a technical SNAFU rather than any intentional omission. Hopefully, The Great State of Illinois has a mechanism to make exceptions when such conditions exist.

Good luck!

I just looked at the IL trainee rules. Looks like their was a required fee to be submitted with the application. Should be pretty easy to prove the check was cashed. And if it was not cashed then the OP should probably have noticed that and looked into it a couple years ago.

The application and the association form are two different forms. One can apply for the trainee license before associating with a supervisor.

When I submitted the form in 2012, I was expecting a letter or ok or something from the office acknowledging the receipt of the document or approving the association or something. Nothing came. After six weeks, I called, and was told that the form was just a formality, and that once it was mailed I could have been signing reports. I have a feeling if the OP were to contact Mr Lansford and Mr Weaver, an acceptable solution could be reached. Just a guess though.
