A pack of Guinness if she's hot and pleasant on the eyes. :)

That would be OK if she would agree to drink it with me!

I usually don't charge. I refer it to my trainee. I have enough experience!

$150 for your typical rectangle-shaped cottage; I would imagine the big boys could be tough to measure even for the experienced. JRS I don't know where your office is but you can burn a lot of gas in short order while covering Corolla to Manteo to Hatteras Village and everything in between; your drive time may be taken into account especially this time of year. By the way, I could see the cloud from the fire in Hyde/Terrel county from the 64 bridge in Chesapeake last week. That must have been one heck of fire.

Guys & Gals Don't ya think we have enough pronblems at the moment without being accused of price fixing!! You may want to read about sevarl cases throughout the USA that available in book form in any libary about this topic, your talking about serious fines & possible jail time. With the problems we face right now I suggest (Just a suggestion) discuss this over coffee & never in written form.

HEY NOW .. thats almost two bottles of Gin .. dont you be making fun of my fees ..... :rof::rof:

(PS ... And thanks for the compliment on my drawing ability)
So you're the one that took that approach - next round on YOU!:flowers::flowers:

price fixing n. a criminal violation of federal anti-trust statutes, in which several competing businesses reach a secret agreement (conspiracy) to set prices for their products to prevent real competition and keep the public from benefiting from price competition. Price fixing also includes secret setting of favorable prices between suppliers and favored manufacturers or distributors to beat the competition.

Karl....do you see a secret agreement or conspiracy to fix prices?? I missed that part of this thread.

There ya' go! I have "people", just sit down and don't worry your mind. :)

Before I took the job with the state, I had a side business that did detailed floor plans...windows, door swings...everything. About a nickel per foot sounds right with a reasonable minimum.
You do want to be very clear about what you are selling. Use samples to show what you are offering. An agent will gladly pay a much higher price for a detailed sketch if they think it will help them sell the property faster and easier. A good sample can help them see that fact.

That's right, it's the "agreeing" part that is illegal. Quoting fees is not illegal.
