The stat is hammers vs "assault" rifles, which is correct.

Most "gun" deaths are actually Gang murders and suicide. Remove firearms like we did in Japan and the suicide rate stays the same. Remove suicide and the Gang murders from the top Five Democrat controlled cities and the number of deaths by firearms plummets.

Gun control groups include everyone 19 and under (some use 21) when they try to scare you about the number of "kids" killed by a firearm. Most are 14-19 year old gang member out shooting eachother at night because there is no Father in the home.

If we take the time to look at the raw data provided by the FBI, we find that all rifles, not just “assault-style rifles,” constitute on average 340 homicides per year from 2007 through 2017. So those scary looking "assault-style rifles" deaths would be even less.
Therefore, hammers and such type weapons are a bigger problem than assault rifles.
