If you don't have a gun yet, better get one

It's truly one of the mysteries of the ages. Handguns, rifles and shotguns lie dormant for years and are only occasionally discharged at targets and game, but when transported into urban blue regions, sudden they begin discharging and harming humans. Clearly it's the fault of the guns and they should be punished.

I suspect there is an imminent lawsuit already drafted that will stay the law until the Supreme Court rules on it.

Oregon voters have the government they elected. If they don't like it, they can elect different people who can then change laws and regulations.
well, you say that...

Oregon has been Vote (cheat) by Mail since 1999. Democrats have had control including a Super Majority since then.

The only way to stop the insane Climate Change tax increases in 2019 was for the Republican Senate members to flee the State so no bills could be passed.

That's the problem with this country--moreso perhaps in OR, but across the country an entire generation has been brainwashed via liberal teaching and lack of critical thinking skills. Every fact and piece of information out there point to the fact that guns are NOT the problem. But the brainwashing has taken hold, and without proper discernment, people will believe whatever they are fed. Not to mention that this is literally a generation that thinks our Constitution is A) mostly not needed, and B) is merely a suggested course of action, not the law of the land.

So things most of us have always held dear, like our rights to free speech and bear arms, are being eroded at an alarming rate. It is easy to say vote someone else in, but when the majority has spoken, I fear the country may already be too far gone. For those who disagree with the direction things are going, we best be prepared to fight, just as those who have put this country on the precipice have fought to tame all the sheep.

And heaven forbid we have to go to combat anytime soon. "What do you mean I can't take my makeup bag sarge?"
The Media has been onboard with the 24/7 brainwashing for this measure. Only now are they saying "Hey this law was written flawed and won't work as intended."

Is there some overriding federal law at play?
Buy private at a gun show. Was at one today. My pick would have been a 7mm-08 Tikka in stainless steel, fluted barrel 26" bbl. Sweet. Another was a Ruger 10/22 with a Mannlicher full length stock. I have a 10/22 - I want a lever Ruger 10/22 style - not made anymore. And a nice selection of S & W pistols - old I frame .32 - nice antique. I have an I frame in .22 - it is not a K22 which is what the dealer thought when I bought it. Private sellers - no paperwork.
