We need a roll call ASAP after the storm. And help the appraiser community get back to work...I think you will be in demand and those with damage need help while helping.

Hey Terrel, Thanks for those good thoughts. Everyone from S to N Fl is just sitting quietly in anticipation...waiting it out with not much else to do but watch these reporters who live for narrating the forthcoming damage and aftermath horrors. I am amazed how they REPEAT the same things over and over again making only slight modifications.

You can't make this stuff up. What were they thinking?:eyecrazy:

They said it is down to a category 3.
It seems to depend on which station one is watching and who is doing the reporting. Anderson Cooper is down in Ft Meyers narrating today.. People are running in one direction only to turn and run in another direction. They were swarming yesterday and the day before going West towards Naples and Ft Meyers on 75 (allegator alley) trying to get out of Miami. Now people who fled West are trying to get out of Naples and Ft Meyers towards Orlando and Tampa and per latest reports those people are now fleeing in all directions trying to get out. People in Ft Meyers are still meandering in the streets or standing on long lines with suitcases trying to get into already overcrowded shelters.

Ok. What do you expect? I know you may think I am being a butt.

But, I would like to know what you think.

That thing looks like monster. Please tell me I am being paranoid.

One Hail Mary is that Naples is very seasonal city and this time of the year is sparse with snow birds many of whom are retirees. They flock down during the winter season by the thousands so their absence makes the evacuation a tad better. Otherwise, other than the 10Mil waterfront properties becoming sea quariums how much worse could it be than what just happened in Houston?

What I think is that for many years to come people are going to re think moving to Florida.
