January business?

I'm in central Fl. Business is slow, but not quite as bad as Nov or Dec. What's really hurting us is we spent a good bit of time getting on wachovia/world savings list and they haven't sent us any - they say they are too slow as well. I was expecting them to send a few a month.

Broker work is dead, all we have is 1 large AMC, and they send us mostly the junk their staff guys have picked through.

I try to do 10 a month right now. I used to do 25-30 with little problem.

I’m awed by those who have rushed to his defense. They’re an impressive group to say the least, they appear to be correspondence school products with outstanding credentials, possibly Home Depot night watchmen and Domino’s dispatchers, in fact I believe one of them claimed to be a moan back member.

So, because we don't automatically brand this guy a skippy, we're all skippies too? Whatever. :leeann:

Like I said, I can't do it, but I know some very good appraisers who are Type A's and can stay focused for hours. Not this little Type B. I get distracted and it takes 20 minutes or more for me to get back on track.

For those who are excellent time managers, 10 a week is not a problem at all.

Some of y'all need to listen to Joel Osteen and take to heart what he says about jealousy and tearing down people who are doing better than you.

JAllen, good for you. I am happy to hear that you are so blessed and that you have positioned yourself to make the most of it. I hope all the rest of us will have the same opportunity soon.

Long Hours!

Hey, give this appraiser a break. Working 20 hours a day, 7 days a week, I figure I could complete approx. 90 assignments a month also. (Assuming I could actually working that many hours).

Just because someone is extremely hardworking, has no life, and can get the work out, does not mean he is a Skippy.

Wow, the Pollyanna crowd is getting testy. I’ll try to say something nice about the one man fee shop on steroids. He did say in post #14 he was cutting back next month which is commendable. Of course February has fewer days.

Hello, fellow Type B.

Is your doggie a Blue Heeler? Looks just like mine! You need to get your dog some parka gear!

Congrats, hope things continue to go well for you.

I am staying 10 feet away from this thread... it's a joke. Dave, you ought to steer clear as well.
