There have been, are and will be enough erroneous claims to start a new sub forum.

Can we get back on topic? Let’s Get this thing signed and out there?

Of course. As the IVPI document itself notes, the HVCC was established prior to the IVPI proposal. Those who crafted the IVPI did not write or help write the HVCC, as was claimed. And that is in no way intended to diminish their efforts. Just addressing an erroneous claim.

So the original troll message is not valid?

I wouldn't sign it. I seem to recall past petitions, ideas of unions for appraisers etc... Provided HVCC as an answer and created the AMC industry.

But E is correct,

Back to the message.

If you don't like the wording of the current petition, write another one.

There is nothing that says only one petition can exist at a time.

Call and email everyone you know, get them to call their state representatives in Congress.

Call your local newspapers, write an article for them.

Call your local TV stations,

Discuss the issue with their investigative reporter.

Hey Danny here is a chance to step up, as an appraiser, write a new petition without the political comments.

Remove the political statement from the petition and you may receive more support.

Petition: “The Trump Administration wants to disrupt the role of appraisers, but that's not a good idea.“
If not Trump, then who? Bush, Clinton, Peewee Herman?

Whether someone voted for him or not is irrelevant- It IS what it is

Signing the pietition is a vote for yourself and your best interests as an Appraiser

This is getting comical and really shows just how delusional residential appraisers are. The best suggestion is the one to contact a Investigative Reporter **Ring-Ring- Hello is this Don Lemonade - Yes who is calling and how did you get my number ? Well Sir Lemonade I am with a group of old frustrated residential real estate appraisers and is it possible you could you meet with our organization so we can inform you about how the Federal Government is going to screw us again !! Response From Mr Lemonade: Mr appraiser our stations success comes from viewership and advertisers and unfortunately I hate appraisers and so do 90% of our viewers, one of our biggest advertisers is Rocket-Mule-Mortgage and they hate you guys too and they now use hybrids and inspection waivers.

Anyway petitions don't work for appraisers so get proactive and consider getting a Twitter Account with a handle like ( #Starvingappraisers ) then set up a Go-Fund-Me-Site and see what happens .

We need to check Andy’s web site and verify, right M?? :)

I actually forgot about the IVPI. So inconsequential did it become after The HVAC  was retired. Not that either was effectively relevant

It does appear that whenever the govt creates a newly lettered entity, as a remedy to a previous one, it’s a sure bet the tax payer is going to get screwed.
