Letter From FNMA 'Baptist' can't be in report...

You've gotten this far without being hassled by them. I don't think you have much to fret about going forward because I'm pretty sure you aren't going to repeat this non-error.

If you're concerned that you've been placed on a watchlist then perhaps start with sending them a note saying that you think it's grossly unfair and hope they reconsider on that basis. You have nothing to lose.

I try to be mindful about the terms I use in my reports just in general. But I'm sure I've inadvertently used terms before that could set off the tripwire. We are all of us exposed to certain legal risks in our day-to-day. About all we can do is all we can do.

I don't think they care about fair. They want to appear to be doing something about phantom racism.

I can see how much pushback he is doing that FNMA may be concern with his thinking.

You don't find anything wrong with "Southwest Baptist University" but some do.
Would you have a problem if it was "Southwest Mormon University"?
Or "Southwest Jehovah Witness University"? Or "Southwest Buddhist University"?
Just keep trigger words from your reports.

I don't see everything through that lens.

None of what you typed would have ever caught my attention. Its a fact, nothing to judge or critique. I am changing my neighborhood commentary.

Whether they're actually right or wrong about the allegation is arguably subordinate to their belief that they're right. IRL the tail wags the dog in politics. Way of the world.

Someone suggested running a neighborhood description through an AI with the instructions to rewrite for objectivity and PC verbiage. It's an interesting idea, IMO.

I bet the AI can't keep up to date

You have to consider the reader who may have different views on those words.
