Map Issue

I'm trying out SFREP for the time being. http://www.sfrep.com/

It's working very well for me and I'm figuring out the set up. Every software provider has it's 'flow' and methods. After using half a dozen form packages over the last 20+ years, every appraisal software provider will be a bit different than NCV. You have to unlearn what you've gotten used to. NCV was wonderfully simple; I would have loved for JD to have hired help and to have it be current and supported. But it's time to lump it and learn how to use something else.

You can do a screen capture with Word, save as pdf and drop 'er in the report.

The $350 a year for CF is worth the mapping and census data alone.....

You must mean ALaMode, CF is running $599 cheapest.
I used CF for over 15 years, and virtually never had a problem
But, when they tried to charge for modifying software for UAD, I walked away.
I just won't deal with that firm since they showed their true, very shifty, colors.

Interesting, I paid $350 last May and $399 in 2013....

We will see how my negotiating skills are in 2015....

Edit: Just checked my excel expense sheet for 2014: 349.00 on 4/1

Mapping issue seems to be gone. Not getting the script error at all now. It must have been a google maps issue all along and nothing to do with the software.

Of course, healing powers

When I talked with Clickforms I was told they give some long time users a discount and only charge them $399. Or in your case it looks like $350. For a new user switching to Clickforms it is $599 per year. http://www.bradfordsoftware.com/membership/http://www.bradfordsoftware.com/membership/

That price does not include any sketch software or mobile tools. Apparently to get the mobile tools you have to get the $99 per month ($1188) package. And even then you still don't have a sketcher. Then if you want regression software you will have to purchase comp cruncher or Redstone or whatever else they can dream up for an additional fee. Its really ridiculous for a new user to even consider Clickforms when alamode offers all of that and more for $350. I don't like Clickforms as a company but I was willing to over look their sins because I really like the software, but frankly its just way to expensive and not worth it.

I've been using Total the past few months but the flow is very different than NCV or any other software. Its a very steep learning curve and I'm not sure its worth it. I am going to be taking a really hard look at ACI. I think the work flow is more similar to what NCVForms is like and with their new $399 pricing for everything the price appears very competitive.

As a linux user I am also very interested in the ACI Sky cloud option. Although I understand alamode is working on a cloud option as well.

I have old reports in NCV that I cant figure out how to open....Since I retired, I have not paid for software but I would think it possible to open previous, paid for reports. Of course someone has a question about one. Any help out there? Probably should have posted this elsewhere but I dont know how. Sad, really.

Print each finished report to pdf. Problem solved

My girlfriend is a scientist and much smarter than me. It annoys the crap out of her when i suggest that sometimes, things just fix themselves. She says its not possible, i say it is. I win
