your getting in Picwick lake area then if your talking TN. You can get real expensive home on the TN River (Pickwick Lake) there.
What tri-cities are you referencing?

The tri-cities of NE TN (Upper East TN) are Bristol-Kingsport-Johnson City.

Pickwick Lake in TN is sweet. Very rich people.

Kentucky Lake on north side of Tennesse river is same way. Tennesse River runs south to North. Strange. Mississippi River runs north to south.

Pickwick Lake probably has more rich residents than Kentucky Lake in TN. Pickwick Lake has more tourist probably than Kentucky Lake.

Better pick up a copy of Maus before moving there.

Great Smoky Mountains are awesome in East TN. Get you a cabin on a mountain.

Make sure you have good transmission in vehicle if you work the Great Smoky Mountains.

Do not feed the bears in Great Smoky Mountains. You will go to jail for that. You may get eat also. LOL

May not have to worry about jail. LOL

I call it "running away". Moving is generally a bad idea. You typically loose money, one way or another.

Better to find people with "somewhat" like interests and develop self-interest groups. And such groups should be unnamed without official organization, in order to avoid harrasment from the government. - I'm sure in Oregon, much could be done in developing conservative networks to cover issues such as at home schooling, job support and so on. ... Add in boycotting goods from liberal anti-American companies like Nike.

Oregon has plenty of conservative areas such as Eastern and Southern Oregon. They have a fairly successful movement to secede from Oregon and join a "Greater Idaho". There is Idaho of course.

Moving to a more conservative area generally means moving to an area where there is less work; however, areas like Texas are an exception.

Generally speaking, the conservatives by their very nature, dislike liberal environments and want to run away. That is a weakness.

They also like to be forthright and open. That is a weakness.

Conservatives need to keep as quite and as stealthful as possible, while remaining forceful in the exercise of their rights and beliefs.

To be on the "right" side legally and politically, you have to get the right people in office. You need a majority. You therefore need to develop communities where the employers will not discriminate against conservatives, where conservatives can move to and build "quiet" but effective networks. Such communities should be in conservative counties which should be in a conservative state. Such areas have to be built-up over many years and decades.

However, perhaps, due to the proliferation of plastics in the environment (e.g. they find them even in rain water in the Rockies), the fact that certain prevalent plastic compounds block the effect of testosterones in the blood, men everywhere are becoming feminized, the whole issue is hopeless. We are destined to become a world run by silly feminized "people" who bite and scratch. Yuuk. - No where to run to. Stay indoors and buy a lot of good air and water filters to remove the plastics and other pollutants. Learn to eat the right foods that are least likely to be contaminated and so on.

Have kids? --- Then learn all about home schooling.

Yeah, political reasons to move is a bad idea. Tennessee is very split. They may buy house and next door neighbor is totally opposite. Tennessee is very diverse and not a big player in political roles.
