Welcome Roger.

I have to play nice because I'M A REEL APRAZUR now.

dammit!

Hi everybody!

Just wanted to say thanks for your friendly responses. I feel so welcome here!!! I think I will go off and read this list's archives to get to know folks a little better.

I may be a little rough around the edges, but once you get to know me I'm just a big polar bear without the teeth and the claws.

I have had every problem you can name...from itchy skin to a stubborn loan officers. It going to be tough to survive, but it strengthened me and made me very eager to help anyone I can through the difficulties of the adjustment to this new lifestyle and the declining appraisal orders.

A more unlikely mix of curmudgeons and wannabes mixed with 'senior fonts of knowlege' and bright folks with new angles, you would be hard pressed to find at any six or seven conventions. and this costs a LOT less per hour :P

A few hours reading can get you a lot of edumecation... even those who now sign on the right probabaly won't dissappear fast, as this place is addictive and FUN!

Welcome and just remember, don't leave your screen without a sense of humor, and you will fare better here.

Hey LeeLee .... the humor job is mine ... don't go givin' it away ..... I mean .... I lost my sidekick today to a certification and now you want to take away my "comic relief" job?

Man!! I gotta get certified ........

Roger, can you put in your stats where you are from? It's kind of nice to know what area of the country appraisers are from, and if you don't show up on the ASC website, we can't figure it out (and you don't, I tried your name, call me paranoid, but I check things out-appraisers; you know how we are!).

I am sorry if I sounded confrontational, I didn't mean it to be that way. I often look to see where an appraiser is located if they don't have it on their profile, and the website just didn't show you. Again, it wasn't supposed to be offensive and I apologize if it was.

thanks,
Rachel (just curious) Massey

AS A TRAINEE ,I HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS STIE AS A LEARNING TOO. I MUST SAY I AM NOT USUALLY DISSAPOINTED AT TWHAT I HEAR AND I ALWAYS LEARN, HOWEVER, IN REGARDS TO PAM('S POST OF(NEWBIE PLEASE READ THIS) WHAT SHE MEANS IS ( DUMB QUESTIONS A TRAINEE CAN ASK )THANKS PAM WE NEED YOU! WE TRAINEE'S ARE SO EGAR TO LISTEN AND LEARN. (SHAME ON YOU, PAM ) ...........AS A TRAINEE....A NEWBIE......AN APPRAISER WANTTA BE........AN ETHICAL APPRAISER WANTTA BE....YOU OFFEND ME. DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU THAT WE MIGHT WANT ANOTHER PERSECTIVE....ANOTHER ANSWER........ANOTHER THOUGHT THAT MIGHT MAKE THINGS MORE CLEAR......PAM IT MIGHT BE BETTER IF YOU STAYED IN WITH YOUR PEERS AND NOT WITH US LITTLE PEOPLE. WE ARE LOOKING FOR INSIGHT AND MY THOUGHT IS THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION . I HAVE A GREAT SUPERVISOR HOWEVER THERE ARE TIMES I DONT AGREE WITH HIS PERPECTIVE AND IT DOESNT HURT TO ASK ANOTHER EXPERIENCED APPRAISER THIER THOUGHTS.
