UGH, SIGH, FACEPALM! Basically, they have a program scanning the PDF for any words on the naughty list. It got flagged and they requested a change without reading for context. This is one of those that shouldn't be requested but you might as well change it and don't use it in future reports. Just use "variety" from now on and move on with life. There's a bunch of template wording I've begrudgingly replaced.

How about, “diverse styles” instead of the word, “diversity”?

I get it. When it comes to this stuff, people’s minds have become so open, their brains have fallen out. It has gotten out of hand to the point where the word police need a collective smack upside the head.

However, it is your career and you need to not get on the wrong side of your clients. Just change the word and vent here on AF.

Why not just use "different"?
If Woke, "Diversity" doesn't sound right in appraisal reports.
