I bought a little thing called "Dazzle" ($60.00) a couple of years ago that can read any memory card, and has saved me a couple of times. Maybe its your camera?? Not reading the card correctly???

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I wish I could use the MLS photos but, it is an FHA and they have to have the appraiser's original photos. I am going to try the link that incognito gave me. If that does not work, then, its off to the local photo lab. I know the owner. Maybe he can save my butt.

The photos are on the disk. I have tried using my card reader. That's how I download them to my computer. Wish me luck!

Sometimes my camera will create another save directory all by itself. Check the card through the my computer option and see if there are multiple directories.

Incognito! YOU DA' MAN!

I downloaded the Photo recovery genius and it found all of my photos. I had to register the program before it would allow me to save them. It was only $39,95. That's a lot better than driving for three hours taking my subject photos and my comp photos again.

UDPATE:

I was able to recover all of my photos. I had to save them to a file and then work them into my appraisal report. But, I didn't have to go back out and re-take my photos. Thanks everyone.

OP that's some good news, glad to here it.

Not acceptable for FHA appraisals.

Recently at an FHA Class, with people from HUD/FHA actually there to teach us, someone asked about MLS photo's. We were told MLS photo's could be used IN ADDITION to photo's actually taken during the exterior inspection. I was really happy to hear this. Going to be a little tougher for skippy now.

Only wish everyone made this a requirement.
