Diversification = diworsification in this market IMO. Seems like a lot of the non-tech/AI sectors are stagnant in this economy, but not really opportunistically priced. Finding cash to be a better hedge.

Everyone excited and overoptimistic in spending in AI sectors.
Like other bubbles, it will pop and bring back investors to realistic practicality of AI.

100% it is going to end badly. Maybe different time horizons, but I'd rather buy companies that are executing than companies that aren't and will probably be hurt when the bubble pops also.
FWIW, there are companies out there in the sector that are still priced at a discount to historical levels. More to the space than the Mag 7 and Cathie Wood stocks

Don't get me wrong.
AI will change us and companies in how to do business. More efficiency and less need for workers.
Everyone wants to know how to use AI to improve their performance.
Just like the start of the internet, many companies made millions. I know few who became instant millionaires.
Each generation is lucky at the right time to hit it big but that's another story.
AI is like the internet that initially created excitement and later many companies failing.
Even I lost money with AOL and Yahoo stocks.
I didn't see the foresight to buy Google and Apple. Ugh.

AI bubble is just beginning. It will be 5-10 years before I pops. There will be something like the AOL time warner merger to mark the top. This time it will be something like a $5 trillion merger.

AI is great. I can ask lot of questions about appraising quickly.
Before searching in internet to get answers would take so long. AF was a bit faster to get answers but had to endure criticism and belittling.
Remember one time I asked about garage door. The garage door companies still call it the garage door.

The one who wins get to be dominant and gains financially.
