If you know statistics, you don't need 1,500. Even 20 old appraisers should be sufficient giving a good indication of what to be.Any poll to have even a half way reasonable chance of being close
to accurate within a 3% to 5% +/- error needs a minimum of 1,500 actively practicing appraisers doing mostly loan production reports but you don't go to nursing homes to recruit new athletes anymore than asking the appraisers who are 60 years or older if they will be quitting or retiring because of a new form.
No idea, I'm diversifying to the point that appraising is my side gig.
Well done. I urge everyone to treat this as a side gig. It’s not a bad one. But the folks in charge have gutted this profession at this point.
