Regulator wins TAF CEO position

Frank is just fine. FWIW, The Appraisal Foundation is not an advocacy organization. Even though members of the board of trustees may personally agree with disclosure of fees related to appraisals on disclosures and closing statements, expect the Foundation to stay in their lane.

That being said, another organization, the National Association of Realtors, as a result of work by the Real Property Valuation Committee, is working on disclosure of fees on the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) form. Take a look at the second paragraph under "Compensation and Quality are Correlated" in the letter at this LINK.

This is not the only effort by NAR. It just happens to be the most recent and easiest to find.
I don't see advocacy being a part of it. I would rather refer to it as transparency to the borrower. TIL is truth in lending.

'however we have composition goals on the BOT, we want to make sure the BOT matches the united states CENSUS'... :rof::rof::rof:

That is the problem that you can read into many posts in this thread. Many appraisers feel nobody is taking up for them. Transparency on fees in truth in lending disclosures would a small step in the right direction.

No advocacy involved. It is right for the borrower. Companies get huge fines all the time including lenders for non disclosure to their customers.

NAR agents get fines. NAR are legal advocates for their customers. Still get fines.

I know where you are at. Like between a rock and a hard place. However, you may have more influence of what is right than you think.

what does that mean?
It means they have started to stack the three boards for purely political reasons with women, minorities, and folks under 65. So they’re discriminating based on sex race and age.

Reading and comprehension are clearly not part of the skill set demonstrated in your post. Peace to you and yours.

Listen to the first ten minutes of the BOT webinar we’re Bunton admits that he is changing the composition of the boards and uses terms such minorities, women and age.
