Anyone else notice any trend here?? or am I wrong, Seems now that things have slowed down there is more revoking of licenses than there was during the "BOOM"

During the "boom" we were needed. The reason so many people in the real estate industry are hacked about HVCC is because everyone was enjoying the party... in spite of that nasty hangover... and Freddie and Fannie just put away the punch bowl. Appraisers were the pinata.

Now, the various regulators, many of whom failed to monitor the bar when the party was in full swing, feel that the proper hangover cure is to mop up all those pinata pieces.

That depends on whether or not things are fair or generated by witch hunting since the public expects some hangings.

DEPENDS on IF the revoktions are Justified!!! I'd bet most are, they've just come late. However Many Appraisers may want to look back at the many times that I've said It takes 2-5 years from the start of an investagation till the final hammer. I believe the "keeper of the tally " of the license revoctions suspensions, surrenders is going to have a continuous increase over the next 5 years.

OKAY need some verifications, clarifications;

HVCC is NOT a law?? It's a guideline, & is set to be reviewed in12-18 months & at that time can be reinstated or dismissed??

Some Appraisal organizations IMO are working in the intrest of the Appraiser. Again it takes many woorkers, many months/years to get anything accomplished.
