The entire thing came from a simple mistake on the appraisal which happenend several years ago and it was two errors on the report. The value was accurate and the review appraiser used two of the comparables we used in the report. The state suspending the license was by accident and it is being restored next week as they didnt get the letter we sent back to them with the final paperwork.

This is a very popular threat. I guess it's popular for the same reason people slow down and turn their heads at roadside accidents looking for blood and body parts. Oh, the humanity.

If anything, this thread is shining a light on the problems with communication (or, lack thereof) between state licensing boards and the ASC. So that's more problems, heaped on top of the problems we already have.

Well if nothing else this helps the over-supply of appraisers. One observation is that the vast majority of these florida appraisers have high license numbers (i.e 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000) rookie certified appraisers. Maybe our trainee/apprentice system is not working.
