Appraisers named on this listing are not eligible to perform appraisals in connection with Federally related transactions unless and until their credentials with the State have been reinstated. Information in this listing is based on the most recent data submitted by the State appraiser regulatory agencies.

Now lets see the list of all Mortgage Companies, Lenders, Title Companies, Brokers, Agents, and Loan Officers who worked with these individuals. Lets see how many appraisals were done by these "Excluded" individuals for each one?? Yes, these are the bad apples of appraisers, but I doubt even a "bad apple" would commit fraud without someone on the lending/ realty side pushing them? Like drugs on the street, if you can not cut off the supply, things likely will not change for the better no matter how long you make the exclusionary lists............

Plain and simple, any "pressure" exerted by any mortgage company, lender, title company, broker, agent, loan officer would hit an immediate dead end if every appraiser would say no. The fact that some do not speaks of the character of the appraiser, not the one putting on the "pressure".

Yes it would hit a dead end. I merely make the point that the powers that be should not only search out the unethical appraisers, but also the unethical brokers, agents, LO's, ect. as well, as it surely does speak to the character of the one putting on the "pressure". Last time I checked, "putting on the pressure" violates many laws, lending guidelines, ect. ect.

I am not defending unethical appraisers as your post implies. They all need to go.
